Abstract
868,643. Detection apparatus. SVENSKA AKTIEBOLAGET GASACCUMULATOR. Dec. 9, 1959 [Dec. 17, 1958], No. 41858/59. Class 37. A detector coil 1 is connected in series with a current transformer 4 across an alternating supply 3, or compensating or comparison coil 5 being connected in series with a second transformer 6. The secondaries are connected to oppositely connected rectifiers 7 and 8, such that no voltage appears across the terminals 11 and 12 when equal currents flow through the coils 1 and 5. An indicator 13 is connected to terminals 11 and 12 via a filter 14 and condenser 15 such that only changes in the ratio of the currents flowing through transformers 4 and 6 reach the indicator which is thus effected only by vehicles moving in the vicinity of coil 1. The coil 1 may be a single turn coupled over transformer 2.
