A device for feeding calves comprises an open-topped container 6 having a resilient teat 2 supported on its base 4 by a removable metal attachment. The metal attachment comprises a shank 10 bolted to the base of the container and formed with a bulbous portion 8 for receiving the teat, the interior of the teat being in communication with the interior of the container via bores 17 and 19 in in the shank 10. As an alternative to bolting the shank 10 to the container, the base of the shank may be embedded in a rubber suction cup which can be made to grip against the base of the container.
