867,432. Photographic diazotype materials. GENERAL ANILINE & FILM CORPORATION. July 24, 1959 [Sept. 22, 1958], No. 25553/59. Class 98(2) Two-component materials suitable for making prints of stable background as in the case of intermediates, and which are free from sulphur stabilisers permitting filing of the intermediates along with silver prints without bleaching of the latter comprise, as detailed, diazotised p-morpholinoaniline, p-morpholinometa-toluidine, p-morpholino-metanilic acid, p-piperidinoaniline, p-morpholino-meta-anisidine, p-piperidino-orthotoluidine, p-oxazolidinoaniline, p-(2-methyl-oxazolidino) aniline, p-(tetrahydro-1,3-oxazino) aniline, p-(tetrahydro - 2 - methyl - 1,3 - oxazino) aniline, p-(4- methyl-3-oxazolidino) aniline, p-(2-phenyloxazolidinoaniline), p-tetrahydro-2-phenyl-1,3- oxazino) aniline and 2-methoxy-4-oxazolidinoaniline as sensitisers and meta-hydroxyphenylurea, ortho-hydroxyphenylurea, resorcinol-4-sulphonic acid, 2-(N,N-diethylaminomethyl)-3, 6-dimethylphenol, 3-acetanidophenol and m,m<SP>1</SP>-(ethylenedioxy-diphenol as couplers. Three examples are directed to the use of these substances, the solutions for sensitising including, additionally, glycol, boric and citric acids, aluminium sulphate and saponin but no sulphur-containing stabilisers.
