Abstract

A hydraulic fluid consisting of a glycol ether or a polyglycol or a polyglycol ether with or without the addition of castor oil or other non-drying vegetable oil or a mixture of such fluids contains 0.05 to 2.0% by weight of benzotriazole. The hydraulic fluid may be ethylene glycol ether with or without castor oil. The Provisional Specification refers to diacetone alcohol and castor oil.
