867,129. Dish-washing machines. BURCO Ltd. Jan. 1, 1960 [Feb. 2, 1959], No. 3565/59. Class 138(1). Means for releasing a spring loaded catch for the door of a dish-washing machine is obstructed during the operation of a motor, driving circulating means for the washing liquid, by a rotatable device actuating the motor switch. A button 5, Fig. 1, may be pressed to release a catch 4 from a latch 3 on the lid 2 of the dish-washing machine only after a boss 11 surrounding the button 5 has been rotated to align screws 9 on the boss with recesses 10 in the button, in which position a cam 13 rotatable with the boss 11 disengages a lever 14, Fig. 2, from a plunger 17 to open a switch 18 and stop the motor.
