A drain pipe consists of at least one thinwalled strip 1, Fig. 6, which is bent transversely to its longitudinal axis to form a tube with its longitudinal edges defining a longitudinal gap 2 and received relative to one another, the strip being longitudinally sinusoidal, whereby the pipe is flexible in all directions. As shown in Fig. 3, the longitudinal edges of the strip are secured by one or more I-shaped springs 3. Alternatively, the edges are located in a gutter 9 of W-section, Fig. 9, or V-section and, in the latter case, the edges may dovetail with one another. The pipes may be of circular, triangular or drop-shaped cross-section and are formed of one or two strips. The strips are made of synthetic plastic or of rot-proof, damp-proof or laminated paper.
