Class 34(2) A centrifugal hydro - extractor for laundry work has a basket with a perforated peripheral wall d on which are secured vertical dividers e of Wedge-or V-shape with the apices pointing inwardly towards a like number of radial blades f of a removable divider so that the basket is loaded in separate. bundles and after removal of the divider for centrifuging, the bundles are maintained separate during centrifuging by the vertical dividers. The blades are aligned with the apices by parts of the removable divider engaging in radial slots i in a plate secured to the base of the basket. The opening at the top of the basket has a lip 'extending from the basket shell to the opening which' has a steep angle to the shell to facilitate the removal of the load from the basket.
