861,889. Securing coils for dynamo-electric machines. LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd., J. Sept. 18, 1959 [Sept. 29, 1958], No. 30980/58. Class 35. To secure windings in slots in laminated rotors or stators all or some of the laminations have an outwardly-extending lip 3 on one or each side of the slot mouths which are bent inwardly after insertion of the windings. A rope wedge 6 may be provided to prevent damage to the windings.
