[Also in Group XXXIV ] In a bicycle change-speed gear of the chainshift type, wherein jockey wheels j, k are rotatably mounted on a combined chain shifting and tensioning arm comprising sidebars a, b secured to the slidable member d of a shift mechanism such as that described in Specification 664,186, the inner races of the jockey wheel ball-bearings each comprises two interthreaded cones n one of which has on its outer face a gapped wall o forming a recess receiving one of two cranked arms f, g of the side bar a, thereby preventing rotation of the cone relative to the arm, and the other of which cones adjacent to the side-bar b has spanner flats p for adjustment, a screw l being provided for locking. The side-bar a has a cranked lug c for securing the composite arm a, b to the member d.
