The beams 4 are placed centrally across each of the base beams 1 ... 3 without engaging adjacent .base beams and comprise boards 5, 6 spaced from each other by hardwood rods 7, 8 seated in grooves in the ends, the boards being attached together by metal clamps or'staples. The beams 9, 10 have flexible joints 11 fitting together and filled with insulating'or sealing material.
