Class 52(1) A coffin or like handle 11 with back plates 13 has holes 14 to receive the legs of a split pin 15, which legs 15b are splayed behind the side of the coffin 17, the said holes 14 being counterbored at 14a to receive the head 15a of the pin and plugs 16 being inserted and screwed in the holes 14 to hide the pin heads after fixing.
