[Also in Group X] In a piggery a wall of hollow concrete beams 1, Fig. 2 between two stalls is used to dispense feeding stuff into troughs 26, from a trough 28 at their upper ends, the lower end of the beams being filled with grout to form sloping surfaces 30, alternate beams discharge into opposite troughs through openings 29 controlled by apertured plates 32 operated by levers 34. Feeding stuff is stored on the loft floor 40 and in the hollow beams 1 of the wall. The edges of the hollow beams 1, which also form the floor, are inclined inwardly at 2 and then outwardly to the part 3 which has grooves to key with grouting between the beams.
