859,432. Electric selective signalling systems. FAIRBANKS, MORSE & CO. Jan. 21, 1957, No. 22801/60. Divided out of 859,431. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (1). A weighing machine is described in which an analogue voltage is digitized by repeatedly comparing it with a voltage produced from a group of binary weighted parallel connected resistors which are appropriately switched in (by a first group of relays) and out (by a second group of relays) of circuit in squence until the unknown voltage is equalled. The description is identical to that of Specification 859,431 which is referred to, but the claims differ. Specifications 694,907 and 777,378 also are referred to.
