Abstract

858,236. Suspending curtains. FRENCH & SONS Ltd., T. Nov. 12, 1958 [Aug. 20, 1957], No. 26214/57. Class 52(5) A moulded glider for a girder-like curtain rail e has a track-engaging part a, an integral tongue f to engage a hook tube, and an extension c engaging the web of the rail to maintain the glider and the curtain heading erect. As shown in Fig. 2 the straight inner side and prolongation of the part a in the longitudinal direction of the rail combines with small clearance between the glider and the rail to minimise tilting of the glider. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5 provision of an arcuate track-engaging part j and a rib o permit tilting and the slot g extends well below the track-engaging part to accommodate a deep curtain heading.
