857,755. Hydraulic presses. TATE BROS. Ltd., and TATE, A. E. April 30, 1958 [May 1, 1957], No. 13932/57. Class 69 (2). An hydraulic press 10 is supplied by pump 12 driven by internal-combustion engine 48. Lever 38 actuates the engine throttle through cable 41, and is spring urged into such a position that the engine idles and valve 22 is open to by-pass liquid to reservoir 15. When the throttle is opened, valve 22 closes, so that the pump 12 delivers to the press 10. Specifications 601,690 and 693,367 are referred to.
