Class 52(4) A cushion has a sponge rubber layer 1 with central apertures 3 separated by partitions 4 of less than half the width of any adjoining aperture and the peripheral edge 6 has semi-blind lightening cavities 7 said edge 6 being less flexible than the central part. A covering layer 2 of rubberised hair is bonded to layer 1 at the edge 6 of the apertured layer.
