[Also in Groups VIII and XXX] A troughing idler for a belt conveyer (see Group XXX) comprises a hub assembly which is formed by a flexible cable 2 on which is moulded a flexible sheathing of resilient material, e.g. neoprene, which includes spaced hub members 8. In order to ensure that the hubs 8 are coaxial with the cable a split mould 21 is used for moulding the flexible sheathing which mould includes pins 24 arranged at the centre portions 12 of the hubs to locate the cable 2 at these points.
