Classes 52(3) and 128 [Also in Group XVII] A tray which can be stacked and nested with other similar ones comprises a bottom 31 rigid with which are upstanding separate connector portions 32 spaced therearound, upper support portions 34 with lower support portions 33 vertically below and spaces 35 to receive parts 33<SP>11</SP> of a similar tray in such a way that it can be nested within the first tray by tilting the second tray bottom out of a plane parallel to the first tray bottom, see Fig. 2. In modifications, the upstanding separate connector portions can comprise merely pillars at each corner of the bottom formed of the same material or of wire welded thereto, various arrangements being possible as e.g. in Figs. 10 and 19. In another modification, (see Fig. 28), the oval base 64 is provided at opposite ends with bifurcated wire loops 65, like trays being nested by tilting the upper one so that its end 64a will pass beneath the bight 65b of the lower one, after which the bottom of the upper one can be lowered in a clearway till fully nested.
