A holder for a hand shower device comprises a sliding socket or sleeve 11 carrying a supporting pin for the shower rose and adjustable on a wall tube or rod, the sleeve 11 having a lateral boss 11b to receive a clamping bolt 13 acting as a resilient pressure pad and actuated by a knob 15 screwed on the socket 11 and capable of limited movement between stops on the boss 11b. The bolt 13 may be of metal or other suitable material and have a pad 14 made of resilient material such as nylon, polythene, or like synthetic plastic, or may be itself of this material with no pad. The ends of a groove 11f limit the movement of a grub screw 16, on the knob 15, which enters the groove, and hence that of the knob 15 on the screw-thread 11e. Specification 754,123 is referred to.
