Abstract

852,754. Hand trucks. VINTEN Ltd., W., and VINTEN, W. P. March 10, 1959 [Jan. 6, 1958], No. 443/58. Class 108(1). A camera stand having three castor wheel mountings and in which the vertical spindles 13 of the mountings are interconnected by a chain, has each mounting 21 accommodated in a circular seat in the base 10 being retained therein by a retaining ring 22 and screws 23. The chain sprocket 14 is angularly adjustable on the spindle 13 by complementary coned bushes 29, 30 held clamped in the adjusted position by the nut 25. The axis of the spindle 13 is eccentric to the circular seat in the base 10 so that rotation of the mounting serves as a means of adjusting chain tension.
