851,790. Dredgers. VERSCHURE & CO.'S SCHEEPSWERF EN MACHINEFABRIEK N.V. July 22, 1959 [Aug. 22,1958], No. 25071/59. Class 68(1). [Also in Group XXXIII] A dredging plant comprises a pontoon 1 hinged to which is a ladder 2 supporting both a suction pipe and a cutter head, and an auxiliary pontoon 3 connected to the pontoon 1 for swinging movement relative thereto and serving for hoisting the ladder. Secured to the ladder 2 so as to be submerged when the ladder is lowered, is a dredging pump 11 driven by a motor 12 and a motor 13 with reduction gear 14 for driving the cutter head 15.
