Abstract
850,512. Shower baths. PROTECTION DEVELOPMENT Ltd. Nov. 26, 1956 [Aug. 26, 1955], No. 24656/55. Class 26. [Also in Groups X and XXIII] Shower bath equipment comprises a structure resembling a tent having secured to the inside of the walls thereof a network of tubes, having spray nozzles at intervals, which may be connected to a pressurised supply of water, with or without the admixture of detergent. The structure may be constructed in accordance with that described in Specification 850,513. In the form shown for use with a vehicle, the structure 1, of canvas or other suitable materila, incorporates two separate systems of tubes, 2, 3, one maintaining the structure as desired, the other carrying the supply of water to the nozzles. Water for the system 2 is taken directly from a pressurised water supply ; or it is inflated with a supply of compressed gas. Water is fed from a pump 4 into the system 3. The water with or without detergent, may be recirculated, if necessary, after filtration. The structure may be subdivided into compartments in each of which a liquid of different composition may be sprayed, vehicles being passed through each in turn. At least one end door of the structure 1 may be openable and urged towards the closed position by the pressurisation of the system 3, whereby, also, when the floor is made integral with the walls, low end-walls may be raised (to collapse later), for collection and recirculation of water. A single network of tubes may be used for both purposes.
