Abstract

850,290. Mounting pump motors. SYMING- TON WAYNE CORPORATION. July 12, 1957 [July 25, 1956], No. 22132/57. Class 35. [Also in Group XXVI] A pump and motor combination 36 is suspended in a tank 10 by the outlet conduit 40 for the pump which is supported by a cover 44 for a discharge head 16 mounted on the tank 10 by a casing 14. The leads to the motor are enclosed in a sleeve 62 which passes through a gland 72 in the cover 44, the leads being sealed in the sleeve 62 by a plastic seal 76. A rotatable junction-box 78 is provided. The motor and pump combination can be withdrawn complete from the tank through the casing 14.
