[Also in Group XXIII] A guillotine for trimming wire bristle material for brushes comprises a bed 11 supporting one or more pairs of fixed and moving blades of which the moving blade 37 of each pair of blades is mounted on an arm 31 rockable about a shaft 26 supported by brackets 29 from the bed 11. The holder 45 of each fixed blade 42 (not shown) can be adjusted towards or away from the shaft 26 by a bolt 51 when the bolts clamping it to the bed are released. The bed 11 is vertically adjusted in a fixed frame by a screw 15.
