[Also in Group XXXII] An invalid sitting in a wheel chair 3 inserts his leg into sling 11 and raises it by grasping handle 15 and pulling on cable 7. The cable passes over pulley 6 secured to post 1 secured to the wheel chair 3 and the leg is secured in the elevated position by hooking handle 15 at 17. The length of the cable may be varied at 14.
