1277210 Invalid chairs BATH INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL ENG 17 Sept 1969 48267/68 Heading A4J A chair has a seat 8 pivoted at 4 at the approximate point where the invalid's feet are disposed when he uses the rest on arms 2 and urged upwardly by springs 6a to assist an invalid to rise. A catch 16 prevents inadvertent operations of the chair. Springs 6a can be replaced to suit the invalids weight.
