Abstract

845,739. Supporting the supply cable of an electric machine. LOTT, R. A. H. Feb. 17, 1959 [April 1, 1958], No. 10363/58. Class 78 (2). Cable 18 for supplying an electric iron is carried by boom 15 supported from wall 2 to give a universal movement. Boom 15 is carried by horizontal pivots 13 supported on rotatable sleeve 12 mounted on element 10, the element 10 being carried by base-plate 3 adjustably secured to the wall 2 by slotted hook 1. Spring 19 carries the weight of the boom. Base-plate 3 may be replaced by a spindle 24 (not shown). Modification (Fig. 7).-Cable 18 for supplying a dry-shaver is carried by boom 27, the hemisphere 28 of which is resiliently supported within casing 29 by spring 31 and the cable passing to pins 34 adapted to engage an electric socket.
