Abstract

842,655. Transfer paper. CARIBONUM Ltd. Jan. 15, 1958 [May 16, 1957], No. 15632/57. Class 96. [Also in Group XV] Carbon paper or other transfer sheet material, suitable for the production of written matter capable of being copied by a thermo-sensitive copying process, is prepared by coating a web with a composition comprising a colouring material and finely-divided antimony. The quantity of antimony employed depends upon the colour and nature of the pigment but in general amounts to 15-25% by weight of the composition, the latter preferably containing 15-30% by weight of lake colour, or other pigment or coloured material.
