Abstract

841,131. Light-sensitive diazotype materials. FRANKE, R. H., and MURRAY, H. D. May 4, 1956 [Feb. 4, 1955], No. 3433/55. Class 98(2) Light-sensitive diazotype materials are prepared by coating a support with a mixture comprising a light-sensitive diazonium compound, an aqueous emulsion of polyvinyl acetate, and finely divided non-hydrated alumina, silica, aluminium silicate or unburst starch grains. The polyvinyl acetate emulsion may be stabilized by the addition of polyvinyl alcohol, or polyethylene glycol or ester thereof. The light-sensitive composition may contain the coupling component and the other usual additives. Specification 702,294 is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 749,034 and 752,004.
