Abstract

In the continuous production of polymers from polyesters and organic polyisocyanates as claimed in Specification 839,183, a filler, colouring material or a flame-proofing agent is added to the reaction mixture as a paste formed by premixing the additive with a liquid. The liquid may be the polyester, the isocyanate, tricresyl phosphate or water. In examples 1, 5 silica, in examples 2, 6 a colour, e.g. copper phthalocyanine, and in examples 3, 4 a flame-proofing agent, e.g. antimony oxide are added to mixtures for forming rigid or resilient foamed polyurethanes. Specifications 553,733, 579,340, 790,420, 839,185, and 839,187 also are referred to.ALSO:In the continuous production of polymers from polyesters and organic polyisocyanates as claimed in Specification 839,183, a filler, colouring material or a flame-proofing agent is added to the reaction mixture as a paste formed by pre-mixing the additive with a liquid.
