838,536. Boreholes. BAKER OIL TOOLS Inc. Nov. 5, 1956, No. 33725/56. Class 85 In a casing centralizer comprising collars 10, 11 supporting springs 12, the ends of the springs pass through slots 19 in the webs 16 of the collars and are fixed to the webs adjacent the slots. Each collar is formed in two parts fastened together by pins 30 passing through knuckles 29. The centralizer surrounds a stop or collar 25 on the casing A. In a modification the collars are of channel section, the slots being restricted to the webs of the channels.
