689,807. Casing centralizers. BAKER OIL TOOLS, Inc. Dec. 18, 1950, No. 30817/50. Class 85 In a device A for centralizing conduit B and the like in a well bore C, bowed leaf springs 10 are welded to and between the innermost collars 11, 12 of a pair of longitudinally spaced cage assemblies slidably mounted on conduit B. Each cage assembly consists of an innermost collar 11 attached to an outer collar 17 by circumferentially spaced plates 19 laid on top of and welded to the outer peripheral surface of the collars. Welded to the conduit so as to be disposed between each pair of collars are a plurality of stops 22 so that one or the other groups of stops, on limited longitudinal movement of the conduit relative to the device, engages the inner annular surface 23, 24 of the associated outer rings 17. 18 to draw the device through the bore hole. The stops do not project beyond the collars so that, on rotation of the conduit, they do not engage the plates 19.
