Class 52(2) The grained leather covering 5 of a car seat 6 with folded or piped upholstery is provided on the upper surface 7, 8 of the seat 9 and back 9<SP>1</SP> with small holes 10 in recesses of the graining to improve ventilation and provide an enhanced grip on the occupant of the seat. The folds 12 bounding the sides of the piping 4 have holes 13 in lines at close intervals.
