Class 44 A clock mounting arrangement comprises a mounting base 1 adapted to be secured to a wall and a clock casing 6 adapted to be removably secured to the mounting base 1 by two pairs of coacting catch elements 3, 5 acting between confronting faces of the base and casing, one element 3 of each pair being resilient and having an aperture 4 to receive the other element 5 and to retain it against disengagement upon rotating the casing relative to the base, each apertured element 13 being shaped so as to draw the base and casing resiliently together as a result of such rotation.
