830,473. Tractor power-lift mechanisms. INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. OF GREAT BRITAIN Ltd. Dec. 20, 1957 [Jan. 21, 1957], No. 2178/57. Class 79(1) The laterally spaced lower links 2 of a tractor power-lift mechanism are adapted to be selectively engageable with pivots 8 on the tractor or with pivots 9 on a trailer hitch structure 12 whereby the latter may be raised and lowered about a pivot 11 by the power-lift mechanism. When the links 2 are engaged with the pivots 8, the structure 12 is supported by a spring-loaded U-shaped member 14 which is rotated through 180 degrees from the position shown to engage a hole 19. The pivots 9 are formed by extensions of a cross bar 13 carrying a hook 10 which is prevented from disengaging the drawbar by a pin 20.
