Class 79(5) A motor vehicle, e.g. a dumper, is provided with a set of driving controls 13, 15, 17 and a driving seat, 11, mounted upon a platform 10 pivoted about a vertical axis, the controls being connected to their respective mechanisms through flexible connections, which may be Bowden cables, or, in the case of brake and clutch controls, part of hydraulic mechanisms. In the arrangement shown, the platform pivots about the axis of a vertical steering column 12 and has stops limiting its rotation to 180 degrees and means for locking it in the extreme positions.
