829,606. Infants' feeding bottles. HARTMANN, G., [trading as NURNBERG-GUMMI E. HARTMANN.]. Feb. 12, 1958 [Nov. 23, 1957], No. 4650/58. Class 66. A baby's feeding bottle a of the type having a reversible teat d and comprising a pressure member i.e. screw cap b with or without cover disc c, is characterised in that the annula flange of the teat ha a thickened edge portion and either the pressure member or the upper end f of the bottle neck or each of these parts has or have a corresponding annular groove. The thickened edge of the teat flange is shaped as at i in Fig. 2 and the parts b and c are grooved respectively at I and m. In a modification, Figs 4 and 5 (not shown) the upper end f of the bottle neck is similarly grooved. In a further modification, Fig. 6 (not shown) and Fig. 7, the edge portion of the teat is wedge-shaped in cross-section as at k, and the screw cap b, cover disc c and upper end of the bottle neck are shaped correspondingly. The invention aims to prevent the teat being pulled out of position.
