Abstract

829,376. Furniture joints. HARRIS & SHELDON (DISPLAY) Ltd. June 23, 1958 [June 21, 1957], No. 19545/57. Addition to 798,278. Class 52(2) Relates to various modifications of the arrangement of the holes in the junction pieces of the parent Specification. As shown in Fig. 1, a rectangular block 10 has a through longitudinal hole 15 which is threaded and two series of holes 11, 11<SP>1</SP> and 12, 12<SP>1</SP> at right angles thereto, one hole of each series being unthreaded. As shown in Fig. 3, a disc has an axial unthreaded bore 28 and radial threaded bores 29, one of which 29<SP>1</SP> is a through bore. In another form a disc has a diametral unthreaded bore and two theaded bores one at right angles thereto and the other at an acute angle thereto. According to the Provisional Specification a cube has a corner cut off to provide a triangular surface which together with each of the three square faces has a central threaded aperture extending to the centre of the cube. In another form, a disc has a conical upper surface and a central through bore and inclined through bores all threaded.
