Abstract

In the process for making bonded molecular sieve absorbents described in the parent Specification in which a natural or synthetic zeolite is mixed with a mineral clay binder, the clay used is attapulgite. Preferably chabzite or a synthetic zeolite is mixed with 1-40% of attapulgus clay and mulled with water to form an agglomerate, which is then dried, formed into spherical pellets, and heated at 400-520 DEG C.
