Abstract

825,632. Pneumatic tyres. PIRELLI S.p.A. Feb. 29, 1956 [March 12, 1955], No. 6346/56. Drawings to Specification. Class 144 (2). In a tyre comprising separately vulcanized carcase and tread band portions constructed and detachably assembled together, as described in Specification 755,990, the tread band is composed of a plastic or synthetic rubber material which vulcanizes or sets under different conditions from those required for vulcanizing the elastomer, such as natural or GR-S rubber, comprising the carcase. The tread band may comprise polyurethane, butyl rubber, butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer or isoprene - based compounds. Specification 726,810 also is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 755,990.
