Abstract
In the production and preservation of organo therapeutical preparations from the tissue of animal organs, the tissue is warmed for a period of 10 to 30 minutes to a temperature between 37 DEG and 90 DEG C. and then cooled to a temperature below the freezing point and dried under vacuum. Examples are concerned with the effect on mice which had been subjected to ovariotomy of injecting dried ovary tissue heated at 37 DEG C. for 30 minutes, at 60 DEG C. for 15 minutes and at 80 DEG C. for 10 minutes respectively before freeze-drying, and with implanting kidney tissue in the Allantois membrane of chicken eggs.
