Abstract

Liquid media in which Streptomyces griseus has been cultivated and which have been deprived of their streptomycin content are rendered less toxic for incorporation in animal diets such as chicken feeds by heating at pH at least 7, e.g. heating at 40-120 DEG C. for at least 15 minutes at pH 7-10.
