Abstract
823,536. Bakers' ovens. ATELIERS DE CONSTRUCTION GUILLAUME OOMS S.A. Nov. 9, 1955 [Aug. 3, 1955], No. 32028/55. Class 51 (2). In a sector of a baker's oven in which combustion gases are continuously circulated through heat-radiating elements disposed above and below a continuous conveyer, oven gases extracted through transverse ducts 10 above the conveyer 3, pass down side flues to an exhaust flue 14 extending along the floor of the oven, up a centrally disposed side flue 15 to a fan 16, and down a side flue 20 to a return floor flue 19 for redistribution into the oven sector through transverse ducts 17 disposed at the same level as and between the ducts 10. The gases leaving the fan 16 may be partly or wholly diverted to waste by a damper 22. The radiant heating elements 6 and 7 are supplied with hot gases from a liquid fuel-fired combustion chamber 4 by a fan 5 through a duct 8, and said gases are returned to the chamber 4 by a duct 9. The elements 7 supply heat to the exhaust flue 14 and to the return flue 19. Specification 713,271 is referred to.
