[Also in Group XIV] A cushion 10, for use with a bedpan or commode, having a central aperture 11 and mounted on an apertured rigid base plate 12 and provided with a cover 14 of rubber or other waterproof, acid-resisting material forming a lining for aperture 11 is supported on a framework 19 containing a bedpan 20. Flanges 21 locate the cushion and sides 22 are hinged at their upper ends. the other sides being sliding to facilitate withdrawal of the bedpan.
