Abstract
822,087. Roofs. DOMINION FASTENERS Ltd. May 7, 1957 [May 7, 1956], No. 14452/57. Class 20(4) [Also in Group XXV] Roof panels B, Fig. 1, are secured to a channelled roof structure 17 by fasteners, each comprising a shank 10 with arms 13, 14 bent out at one end and terminating in teeth 15 for gripping opposed walls of the channel recess, and means 12 at the other end for holding the panel. The means may comprise a hook 21 or bent over tabs 23, 24, Fig. 4. The fastener may be made of spring steel or a synthetic resin and the part 11 between the arms may be bowed towards the hook &c. end.
