984,196. Roofing tiles; tiled roofs. L. L. BESSE. Nov. 14, 1962 [Nov. 15, 1961], No. 43007/62. Headings E1B and E1V. A roof is clad with metal or plastics tiles 1 each provided with an arcuate portion 2 and with an end flange 3 having pin holes 4 by which the tiles are secured between channel-sectioned support members (Fig. 7) themselves nailed in rows to roof members 11. The support members are formed as troughs having apertured end walls 10 by which they are secured end to end and to the tiles 1 by the pins 7.
