Class 108(1) An invalid chair has parallel runners b secured to the frame to support a foot-rest c which may be retracted to an out of the way position by means of a lever d pivoted at d1 and operable by the handle d2. Alternatively the foot-rest may be pivoted to the chair frame and a pivoted lever provided to lower the forward end of the foot-rest to the ground.
