A body of molybdenum or Mo base alloy is coated, by hot rolling, with an alloy, in percentages by weight of:- ..Co.Ni.Cr.Fe ..10-35.33-22.0-10.the balance .eg..17.29.0.the balance .or.18.28.0.the balance .or.25.30.8.37 A silicon wafer may be brazed to the coated molybdenum body by a brazing alloy of, for example, 95 per cent Ag; 5 per cent Sb; or 98 per cent Ag; 2 per cent Ge.
