Class 108(1) A vehicle has a substructure 1 integrally formed with side walls 7 and 8 which support the base-plate 18 of the driver's cab 17 which is positioned longitudinally of the vehicle in dependence on the load carried on the loading surface 3. The front and rear walls 11, 12 are hinged at 13 and 14 to the substructure 1 to facilitate loading from either front or rear. The side walls may carry further load carrying platforms and may conveniently be made hollow to house suitable control lines from the driver's cab via disconnectible couplings.
