A forward control cab has side panels 15 hinged at 16 to the side walls of the cab and the engine compartment is formed by an upper wall 9 and end walls 13, 14 which support the seat and seat back. The compartment is open to the rear as the rear wall of the cab ends in a turned up edge 19.
